Show the picker in the cart drawer | Otodoke Help

The delivery date and time picker can also be shown in themes where the cart opens as a drawer instead of a page.

Steps

1. On the app's home page, select **Turn on the date picker in the cart drawer** under Cart drawer. The theme editor opens.
2. Check that **Delivery date (cart drawer)** is turned on under App embeds, then select **Save**. Back on the app's home page, it shows as **On**.
3. Add a product to the cart in your store and check that the picker appears just before the checkout button in the drawer.

If you enable both this and the cart page picker (app block), the picker is not shown twice.

If the picker doesn't appear

In some themes, the app can't find where to insert the picker. Try these in order.

1. In the app's Delivery settings, under Cart drawer, set **Insert position (CSS selector)**. The picker is inserted just before that element.
2. If your theme has the setting, switch the cart type to **Page** and use the cart page picker (app block).
3. If neither works, contact support.

You don't need to edit theme code.

Good to know

• The picker is not shown while the cart is empty.
• When the cart changes, the picker rechecks the selection. A date or time that is no longer available is cleared.
• The calendar opens above the field, so the drawer content doesn't shift.
• You can change the heading and other text and the colors in the theme editor, under App embeds → Delivery date (cart drawer). You can also change the text customers see for each language (Japanese and English) on the app's Translations page.
